Purchase Ledger Administrator
We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our Banbury based client. This is a 12 month contract, and they are looking for someone to start ASAP.


As a Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will need to have/be:

  • Prior purchase ledger experience
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong attention span with a good eye for detail.
  • Good decision making and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure

Salary: £26, 000 - £28, 000

Working Hours: Monday
  • Thursday 8.00am 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am 2.00pm

Location: Banbury

Duration: 12 month contract


Role of Purchase Ledger Administrator:


  • Responding to customer queries
  • Matching and processing invoices, filing, and archiving of documents
  • Requesting proofs of deliveries or obtain signatory authorisation of invoices when necessary
  • Raising payments
  • Raising debit/credit notes
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Maintaining a log of query invoices
  • Resolving queries to ensure timely payments in line with procedure
  • Reconciling supply ledger accounts
  • Provide support to the Sales Ledger
