About Our Client:

My Client is a global logistics solutions provider, completing annually roughly 18-22million shipments through a multi-modal transportation capability.

The ideal Ocean Import Operator who will be reporting into the Ocean Freight Manager will have the following responsibilities and tasks:

  • Completing Import Documentation across Ocean Freight Shipments
  • Terminology involved in international shipping from time of purchase order issuance through the delivery of the cargo.
  • Coordinate tasks on the shipments to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing prealerts, governmental filings, executing delivery, ensuring proper invoicing, etc.
  • Completing Customs documentation including submissions.
  • Commutable to Manchester

The Successful Applicant:

The Ideal Ocean Import Operator will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Knowledge of Ocean Freight Imports (required)
  • Knowledge of Customs (Proffered)
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Great Organisation Sills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to commute to Manchester.
