Commercial Finance Analyst - Charity - Derby (Hybrid Working)


Looking to work for an organisation that gives back to the community? This is a commercially focused role where you provide insights and analysis to support with key decision-making for a portfolio of sites for this national charity.

You will be part of a team of 10 in the commercial finance function.

The financial reporting and management accounting teams are also based in Derby so there are good long-term progression prospects throughout their finance function.

It's a really flexible working environment from both an hours and home working perspective.

Given the stakeholder facing nature of the role, you'll ideally be able to work from the Derby office twice per week.


ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Partner with Regional Managers to gain an understanding for the factors that impact their financial and operational performance
  • Review the monthly management accounts packs providing analysis and commentary on the results to identify risks and opportunities
  • KPI reporting and analysis
  • Big volumes of data analysis provide insights to support decision making
  • Budgeting and forecasting with analysis into variances

ABOUT YOU

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified or latter stages of study
  • Excellent data analysis/Excel skills
  • Able to commute to Derby twice per week (free parking available)
