Role Summary


We have a fantastic opportunity at Applied Business Academy delivery team for a person with strong marketing skills and knowledge of the industry to be in charge of coaching and training a caseload of apprentices at the designated site.

You will be responsible for the in-house academy delivery and workplace delivery of the qualification as specified. You will also be responsible for the ongoing learning and progression of the apprentice whilst on the programme.

A highly organised person with attention to detail, you should be passionate about marketing and digital marketing, with an appetite for passing on knowledge and supporting apprentices.

You will also be dealing with our commercial courses and ensuring they meet the standards required.

Applied Business Academy Apprenticeships is an IT specialist training provider specialising in the delivery of Digital IT apprenticeship programmes across London.


We aim to provide the next generation of high-quality IT employees, Digital Marketing executives to feed the demand for qualified professionals through the exceptional delivery of Level 3 & 4 training and professional qualifications.

We also have a significant number of Levy paying clients from Blue Chip companies and many education and sporting organisations.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities

  • To act in the best interests of our customers whether they are our apprentices, their employers or the organisations that fund workbased learning.
  • To actively support apprentices within the academy and the workplace, associated with the marketing programmes, ensuring apprentices follow the agreed programme and schedule.
  • To mentor apprentices in line with the marketing programme standards and offer support and guidance from the start of the programme to finish, along with professional skills required for the workplace.

Quality

  • To focus on how delivering an excellent apprenticeship experience for apprentices and their employers, monitoring progress at the academy and in the workplace.
  • To manage the apprentice journey, dealing with any disciplinary and classroom management issues, taking registers and reporting absence.
  • To maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment for the academies

Contracts

  • To maintain 90% retention and timely completion of apprentices.
  • To ensure relevant paperwork is used and completed correctly, ensuring that all the compliance and process requirements of funding partners and the academy are met in full.

Commercial

  • To ensure your own skill sets are kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum.
  • To perform any adhoc duties that the company considers reasonable, and to be mindful of both personal safety and the safety of apprentices and colleagues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience of work in a marketing / digital marketing environment
  • Minimum of a Level 4 qualification in a marketing, advertising, business, or similar qualification
  • Experience of mentoring/coaching in a professional environment
  • Experience of training and delivery in a marketing / digital marketing environment
  • Training / mentoring / assessing experience in further education
  • Knowledge of the FE Sector and funded programmes
  • PTLLS or CTLLS qualified, or willing to work towards
  • A1 qualified, or willing to work towards

£21,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
