Description

Duties:

• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials according to specifications
• Assemble and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• Install hardware and fittings such as hinges, handles, and locks
• Repair or replace damaged or wornout wooden structures
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as plumbers, masons, painters, and electricians to complete projects
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

• Proficient in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations
• Strong problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction or repairs
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions

Note:
Experience in plumbing, masonry, painting, electrical work, roofing, or heavy lifting is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for specific job requirements.

£18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Flexitime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Joinery: 1 year (preferred)
• Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
