An exciting new opportunity has arisen at the Isle of Wight College

Do you have experience working in IT, and would like to make a difference to the future of young people?


You will be able to support and inspire students, delivering knowledge in the classroom and sharing the wealth of experience you have, teaching on a range of qualifications from eSports and T-Levels in Digital to Higher Education (HCD/HND) in Computing.


As a Lecturer in Digital, you will teach in brand new state-of-the-art facilities, including:

  • Newly equipped digital suites
  • Networking Lab
- eSports Suite


From September 2023, we have established a new Institute of Technology where you will have the opportunity to deliver Level 4 and above qualifications in Cyber Security, Data Analytics or Software Development.


Whether you are an experienced teacher or are currently working within industry, you would be thoroughly supported with any training needs you have, to ensure that you are fully equipped to deliver the curriculum and support students gain the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their studies.


In particular, we are looking for individuals with the following skill sets:

  • Application development
  • Networking
  • Cybersecurity
