About the Role:

System Data Lead - Interconnectors, Warwick (hybrid working)

As our Systems Data Lead, you will have the opportunity to work at the forefront of the energy industry.

You will also have the chance to work with a talented and dedicated team of professionals and contribute to the overall success of multiple Interconnectors.

You will be the point of contact for data management, define data classifications and provide support across the interconnectors be the data champion and SME on data standards across all interconnectors.

We'd hope to see you in the office twice a week and would require travel to the site as needed you're welcome to be in the office/at a site more often if that would work best for you.

We're happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you

What you'll be getting up to:

You will be responsible for ensuring a suitable data framework is in place to the required standards across the team.

The primary focus will be on ensuring adherence across systems, network and logging/monitoring data and managing any changes with suppliers and system analysts to improve data standards.

The secondary element of the role is to act as data champion across the operation team and ensuring data compliance within that wider group.

Expert capacity in developing and managing of the system data policies, standards and framework
Ensure system data is compliant to policies, standards and privacy requirements
Manage data flows and data catalogues with system analysts
Manage any data exceptions and ensure removable media and devices are managed accordingly
Define data classification and criticality and manage acceptance and risks pertaining to this with Data Owner

About You:

It would be great if you have experience with operational technology or have knowledge of networks and are comfortable leading projects with suppliers.

Experience working with Operational Technology or IT in a data role
Knowledge of NIS regulation would be beneficial
ISO 27001 would be preferable
