An exciting opportunity has arisen for a young person aged 17-19 years old, to work as a Modern Apprentice in the diverse Play & Maintenance at Stirling Council.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Trees & Timbers SCQF 5 and other training relevant to the post.

You will be required to work alongside the other operatives and to undertake maintenance on the Councils Land Services sites as per the annual maintenance programme including tree surgery and aerial tree works, carry out tree inspections both from the ground and within the tree, carry out visual inspections of play areas, assist in the removal and/or installation of new play equipment as per the manufacturers specifications.

An ability to work in all weathers is essential with a genuine interest in learning more about the diverse nature of the work.
