Role Overview:


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Teledyne Defence & Space based in Shipley (or Lincoln) for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join a busy sales team.


The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Key Account & Marketing Manager and will be responsible for providing key administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team.

The position combines marketing expertise with ensuring that our customers are receiving great service.

The role will involve working closely with the Sales team and key stakeholders on a wide range of activities and you will play a key part of developing all creative content across two sites.


Summary of responsibilities:

  • To provide administrative support to the Sales & Marketing department
  • A key interface between the internal stakeholders, designated customers and other members of the sales team for all internal and external marketing requirements
  • Controlling digital channels and implementing social media content schedule
  • Developing and maintaining the company website
  • Driving the planning and execution of global events and trade shows with support from the Marketing Manager
  • Supporting Marketing Manager with delivery of annual Marketing Campaign Plan
  • Providing general graphic support using Canva (or similar) and liaising with external agencies for more complex requirements
  • Producing all marketing materials including brochures, banners, merchandise etc
  • Managing required files to ensure efficient operations including budget tracking
  • Coordinating all internal communications and events (including Monthly Comms Newsletter)
  • Supporting Sales team with customer service support as required
  • Providing sales administration support including processing Purchase Orders, acknowledgements and handling general customer requests

Qualities & experience:

Essential:

  • Creative mindset with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience working in a sales or marketing environment
  • Ability to prioritise and work on a multitude of projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to work within a combined role and provide support across two sites
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Experience in customer service
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook
  • Experience of design programmes ie Canva, Photoshop, Creative Cloud Suite

Desirable:

  • Digital marketing experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Business or similar
  • Knowledge of Web CMS (SharePoint) and Salesforce CRM systems
Position based in the office in either Shipley or Lincoln, with occasional travel to exhibitions and events.
