JR are working with a leading engineering company based in Ashby de la Zouch to find a temporary Accounts Assistant to join them on an ongoing basis.

Working as part of a team, this role will focus on processing expenses, invoices and contractor timesheets.


Whilst temporary, this role will be assisting the team during a period of growth and may offer longer term opportunity for the right person.

You will have existing experience within an accounts team, excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Using Sage, you will be confident at processing data and working to deadlines.


Responsibilities

  • Processing, managing and allocating invoices
  • Processing contractor timesheets
  • Processing expenses
  • Raise invoices
  • General admin duties which support the finance team

Key skills

  • Experience of processing purchase invoices
  • Exposure to processing timesheets/expenses
  • Sage l50 knowledge
  • Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
The client are looking for the successful person to start immediately.

They are happy to offer hybrid working, 3 days office, 2 days remote.
