Forge Valley Transport Ltd are based in Wolverhampton but operate UK wide.

We are looking for self-employed trade plate drivers to collect and deliver vehicles UK wide. Experience in this role, or the vehicle industry, would be desirable but is not essential.

This job is more than just driving. We pride ourselves on customer service, being smartly presented and offering a dealership standard handover for our dealership clients. Our clients include well known dealerships, private traders, auctions, car buying groups and fleet services.

Good communication skills are important as you will be required to liaise with clients and end users to keep them updated on progress, discuss vehicle condition and organise timings.

Appraising vehicles thoroughly via the apps we use is essential, therefore, attention to detail and being competent on your smart phone / iPad is a must.

Not all days will go exactly to plan This role is Monday - Friday (with weekends optional at times).

However, the nature of being on the road, using public transport and working with vehicles means that sometimes there are delays or unexpected situations.

The role will involve early starts and sometimes later than expected finishes. In these circumstances remaining calm and problem solving is vital.

We are a friendly, independent business and ensure our drivers feel a part of the team. You will be provided with uniform and we cover all expenses between jobs.

You will have a dedicated route planner who can be contacted throughout your working day for assistance.

You will be given a job sheet the day before each working day so you can see full details of your jobs and required public transport.

We have work available on a daily basis, and require a number of new drivers who are looking for between - 5 days work per week.

You must have a full UK driving license with a maximum of 3 points on it.
