Description

Greenacres care home situated in Standish has a selection of communal lounges and dining rooms with pleasing dementia friendly décor and is home for up to 40 residents.

As a Night Care Team Leader you will provide person centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence including personal care and activities whilst also providing a listening ear to those who need it most.

You will also be responsible for dispensing medication and using your management skills to ensure a high level of quality care is being delivered.

We've adopted a flexible working approach to all our roles, by adapting a rota that means you have as much flexibility as you need to fit around your other commitments meaning you will still have time for family, friends and hobbies.

Key Responsibilities

Helping our residents with personal support and care.
Administration and monitoring of medications to residents.
Maintaining care plans
Support in training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the care centre, under the supervision of senior staff members
Assist service users in all aspects of their care needs (e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual). Provide attention when needed whilst ensuring service users retain their comfort and dignity.
Carry out regular checks on service users at intervals determined by senior staff members.

Essential Skills

An NVQ2 is essential but must be willing to work towards an NVQ
Prior care experience preferred
