Investment Associate opportunity within a renowned lower mid-market private equity investor offering involvement in originating new investments and leading acquisitions and growth strategies.


THE COMPANY


An established lower-mid Private Equity Investor with a track record of investing in ambitious SME businesses across Technology / TMT, Business Services and several other key sectors.

Investing typically c.£5m - £10m for Growth Capital and Management Buyouts,with further funds available for bolt-on acquisitions, this investment team has created value and wealth many times on exit over the past two decades.


THE OPPORTUNITY


Joining the team as an Investment Associate you will be involved in new investments across a range of sectors, executing growth strategy including acquisitions, working closely with Investment Managers and Directors and supporting businesses throughout theinvestment and growth journey.

This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with entrepreneurs and directly impact the long term growth of their businesses through responsible investment and acquisition.


Investment Associate responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities and supporting Investment Committee processes
  • Supporting Investment Directors in executing investment strategy
  • Handling followon / bolton acquisitions, overseeing all aspects of transactions
  • Supporting management teams with development and execution of strategy
  • Building effective working relationships with advisors, introducers and management teams

THE PERSON
You will be a Corporate Finance or Investment professional able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience within M&A / Lead Advisory, Transaction Advisory Services or Strategy Consulting years)
  • Background within either Top 4 Advisory, Investment Banking or Management / Strategy Consulting firm
  • Possibly professionally qualified (ACA or CFA)
  • A strong desire to work within Midmarket Private Equity and to be instrumental in the growth and success of entrepreneurial SME businesses operating within exciting, highgrowth sectors
