Role Summary:
To work in collaboration with Territory Sales Managers, Regional Business Managers, Market Access and Implementation Specialists to open up, develop and drive opportunities locally and regionally to drive an increased use of Dexcom products in the Diabetes Care Market.
To secure market access and drive CGM usage by working with local and national payors and procurement for the region, using approved project plans to deliver timely and on-budget milestones with clear outcomes.
Work with Key Opinion Leaders and Influencers to develop and submit for payor approval, consideration of CGM guidance in line with NICE guidance or equivalent across the given region.
Support and drive increase the Dexcom market share enabling the UK & Ireland to hit national revenue and new patient targets in line with company expectations utilising the services and support from across the company in accordance with the Dexcom values and culture.
Maximize strategic partnerships with other companies to provide value-added and connected services, seeking opportunities for data led prioritization and health economic returns.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Ideally, 35 years of UK market access experience in the health technology sector.
- 35 years of healthcare/pharmaceutical selling experience.
- Indepth understanding of the NHS/ICS/Health boards/Secondary & Primary Care
- Proven track record for achieving targets and delivering success.
- Sound experience of analyzing data including health economic and clinical data collates, organizes and interprets data in order to provide clear and comprehensible information to manage a region.
- Experience in delivering projects to the NHS
- Strong competency in delivering projects
- Competent user of a variety of computer software packages, including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Smartsheets.
- Understanding of CRM systems.
- Full UK driving license (with no more than 3 points).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience of the UK Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes market is preferred.
- Knowledge of diabetes is preferred.
- Life Sciences/Business Degree is preferred.
- Project Management qualification preferred
- Relevant professional qualification(s) preferred.
Travel Required:
50 to 75% - daily travel within region
Language Skills:
Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
