Underwriting Technician - Financial Lines

Up to £27,000 plus benefits

Are you a recent school leaver or graduate keen to build a career in insurance and become a technical specialist? This is a great opportunity for a bright individual who has strong attention to detail, a good understanding of Microsoft Office and good Mathskills to join a leading MGU based in the city of London.


You will be involved with:
- supporting x5 entities of the MGU which will grow

  • Engaging with Underwriters in regard to binder and bordereaux queries
- checking policies, slips and taxes
- reading and processing tax schedules
- general data entry and ad-hoc tasks

This will suit someone with office experience/ exposure who is keen to learn and can demonstrate they are quietly confident You will be supported with you CII professional qualifications with the opportunity to progress into more senior technical positions.
