We are looking for a driven individual to join our service team. AVL UK Limited deliver high tech solutions to support the most advanced automotive, motorsport and commercial vehicle development programs. You will be challenged daily working on exceptionally varied and diverse projects in a team atmosphere.

The service team draw on the vast amount of experience from across multiple sectors, we work with demanding customers, and we are continually innovating new solutions or delivery mechanisms.

Our projects range from single system upgrades up to complete development facilities, working with automotive, formula 1, commercial vehicle and other high technology customers.

Contract values range from tens of thousands of pounds to over £20 million.

General Description
To provide Repair & Calibration coordination to the AVL Service Department. To be the first point of contact and entry for all Customer enquiries.

Main Duties, Operational Tasks and Responsibilities

To support the Service Repair Team and Hotline with coordination of Repair & Calibration tasks.
Raising orders with outside calibration labs for Servicing, Calibration, and Repair of AVL Calibration equipment.
Customer Calibration Certificates ownership & Planning, including issuing correct protocols to SVE's.
To plan & track the location of test and measurement equipment for Laboratory and field Service Engineers.
Supporting internal & external quality audits
Admin support for import / export along with RMA coordination.
Customer liaison ensuring customers are notified of Calibration due dates and coordination of deliveries and dispatch locally.
To coordinate & participate in online Customer meetings.
Prepared to travel to Customer & Internal AVL sites.
To carry out any other duties as reasonably required commensurate with the nature of the job and level of responsibility

Requirements of the Job

Proficient in the use of computerised asset management systems to Manage / Maintain databases of AVL and customer equipment.
To build and maintain good working relationships and information exchange with AVL internal and external customers.
Extensive use of SAP or equivalent tool. (Internal training available)
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and generally IT literate
Sufficient experience in dealing with customers and staff under stressed situations.
Needs to be a team player and willing to accept responsibility within the role.
Commitment, flexibility, selfmotivation and a passion for the role are necessary attributes for this position.
To proactively work for the continuous improvement of AVL Services and AVL UK.
Driving licence.
