Providing quality customer service to the people of the public and ensure that they are happy with the service which is provided as well as finding the best solutions to the problems in which they may be facing.
As a customer service advisor there are many different types of people I must speak to daily. Different ethnic backgrounds of people and different age range of people. Over time I have learnt to deal with different type of people and how to speak to different type of people. For example, if they are finding it difficult to understand English, I would slow down my speech to a level in which they would have a better understanding. Also, if they are elderly and have hearing problems, I would also slow my speech down so that they would understand my speech.
Call handling skills have improved by a vast amount as I have been speaking to wide range of different people, I have learnt to build patience with people over the call and try being resilient to the best possible manner.
Achieving targets and KPI's was essential in this job role as it kept me motivated to achieve these targets.
