A General Manager, who is determined, strategic, and business-minded, is needed to join a small, fast-paced, and ambitious charity.

Working alongside the Artistic Director, the General Manager will play a key role in leading the organisation into its nextphase of development and expansion.

Our client transforms the lives of young people by helping them make positive choices and reach their full potential.

Using drama, theatre, and film, they work with 16-25-year-olds who are predominantly (but not exclusively) from ethnic diverse communitiesin Greater London.

They are now seeking General Manager / Operations Manager to take up a strategic, leadership position.


Supporting the Artistic Director, the General Manager / Operations Manager will be responsible for setting and communicating the organisations vision.

Whether you are managing, monitoring, or reporting financial and governance aspects to the Board of Trustees,overseeing all legal compliance, developing, and implementing a governance structure, devising remedial actions for any identified issues, conducting crisis management, or ensuring the efficient, effective, and solvent financial management of the company itwill be your affinity for the mission that enables successful strategic decisions to be made.


You are expected to be in the London Office E8, at least 3 days a week. There is a need for flexibility, as some evenings and Saturdays will be required.


To qualify You should be a General Manager / Operations Manager / Governance Manager / Operations & Strategy Manager / Charity Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • An affinity for their mission, vision and work and a strong desire to work for this ambitious organisation.
  • A passion to promote access to theatre, film and culture
  • Significant experience in overseeing operational functions and project management
  • Demonstrable experience in budget management and financial reporting
  • A proactive, organised, selfmotivated, entrepreneurial individual, with a drive for excellence
  • A collaborative and inclusive style with a welldeveloped ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and IT skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work flexibly, under pressure, to prioritise and meet deadlines.
