Your Role:

To support us on our collective journey to success we are seeking an Underwriter to join our Construction Team.

What you'll do:

Underwrite a profitable portfolio of new Construction business as detailed in the SBF, Underwriting Guidelines and Risk Appetite documents.
Utalise approved pricing tools and catastrophe modelling tools.
Maintain documentation of underwriting files.
Provide support to Class Leader to ensure timely response to brokers.
Proactively represent Apollo externally to the market.

What we are looking for:

Experience working in a Construction, Engineering or Renewables class of business
Progress towards professional insurance qualification
Analytical ability
Critical thinking
Team player
Understanding of the legal and regulatory framework.
Proactive approach.
Desire to develop underwriting capabilities
