A company dedicated to becoming the UKs lead Property and Construction consultancy within Health and Safety are hoping to bring on a Fire Safety Consultant in and around the Derby area to join a small technically gifted team.

Experience within a care settingand fire is crucial to be a successful Fire Safety Consultant in this role.

The successful Fire Safety Consultant will be supported by an experienced Fire Safety team to lead projects across a variety of sectors including Care Homes, Flats, Schools, Offices, etc.

The key to getting stuck into this Fire Safety Role is to be proficientwith Microsoft packages, experience within compartmentation, fire door inspection and the knowledge how to approach fire assessments.

The Fire Risk Assessor

Level 3 Fire Qualification
Type 1 and 3 fire risk assessments
Residential experience (Desirable)
Able to manage time well
Driving License

The Successful Fire Consultant should hold

Experience in a Building Surveying, Building Control or Fire Service Background.
A Registered IFE Fire Risk Assessor, or Registered with the Institute of Fire Managers IFSM (Tier 2 minimum, ideally Tier
Experience in Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Evacuation Plans, Fire Safety Policies and Procedures, Intrusive Fire Compartmentation Surveys, Design Stage Fire Safety Consultancy/Building Regulation Compliance and Fire Warden Training would be preferable.
