Head of Cloud and DevOps (Hybrid NW based) up to £128,500 + benefits


If you enjoy leading both people and technical direction, have implemented multiple cloud platforms and also still enjoy getting into detailed technical discussions this could be the role for you.


You will get to create the cloud implementation strategy, build the team to deliver it and create from scratch a cloud DevOps environment with best practice and the latest tech at its heart.


An enterprise IT environment, embarking on a cloud and DevOps transformation requires and experienced leader to steer them through the challenges, identify the best technologies for the business and deliver a Cloud DevOps practice able to deliver operationalexcellence.

You will be comfortable managing senior stakeholders and supplier expectations and enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced environment.


You will have

  • Previously build a Cloud / DevOps department and managed them.
  • Designed, implemented and delivered a Cloud strategy for an enterprise estate (ideally AWS or GCP)
  • An understand of Cloud costing models.
  • Previously implemented best practice IaC and CI/CD into an organisation.

It would be great if you could

  • Get down into technical detail to challenge and mentor (particularly at the start)
  • Get involved in HLD/LLD and lead through technical excellence

  • Growing and developing technical teams
  • Implementing DevOps practices and mindsets across the wider existing business
  • Change within a fastpaced demanding environment.
