Location:

We are seeking to appoint two inspirational and experienced Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible to teach and support in our welcoming and inclusive three form entry Infant and Nursery School.

As a TA in our school, you will be committed to motivating and challenging our pupils to make rapid progress, alongside the class teacher, and possess the drive and enthusiasm through which you can develop each individual.

About you:

At RINS we aim to recruit individuals who display the competence and character to drive our school and children to 'be ambitious, spark imagination, celebrate success'.

In return for your hard work and dedication we will offer you:
A supportive environment and a dedicated team around you where talents are valued and nurtured.

High quality continuous professional development.

A fantastic community of children, teachers, governors, and parents.

About us:

Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is a larger than average infant and nursery school and the only one of its kind in the local area.

We are a Local Authority School and work closely as a positive and supportive staff team alongside our parents and community.

An important element of our school is to use the outdoor environment at all opportunities to enhance and enrich our curriculum, this is taught through our Go Wild curriculum.

We also believe that all children should become fluent, confident and enthusiastic readers whilst at our school. These two 'golden threads' of reading and outdoor learning are woven through our planning and practice at every opportunity.

We have an exciting and forward thinking approach to behaviour in school and all staff use this system of positive behaviour management which makes a very happy and calm environment to learn and work.

Ravensdale Infant and Nursery School is committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and expects all staff to share in this.

The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
