You will

To manage the day-to-day provision of all passenger transport services
related to day centres, lunch clubs, special needs schools, mainstream
schools, colleges of further education, voluntary sector organisations and
other users of passenger transport, ensuring that optimum use is made of all
resources whilst providing a high quality, cost -effective, flexible and caring
service.

To Manage all Operations staff, Driver/Attendants, Passenger Assistants and
agency personnel necessary to the provision of the above to ensure and
maximise effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.

To maintain and monitor the Passenger Operation Financial Trading Account
for the Transport Services Manager to ensure the maximisation of the units
service delivery.

To play a key role in the overall Management of the Section, to support the
management of all projects within the team, to carry out specific service-wide
and Departmental co-ordination and liaison functions, to ensure that all
transport services provided by the Section are customer focused and that the
specific individual needs of clients are met at all times.

To prepare Service Level Agreements between Transport Management and
other User Departments, set charges for passenger and self drive transport in
conjunction with the Transport Services Manager and detail breakdown of
charges for each vehicle.

To establish, maintain and develop systems and procedures for the provision
and maintenance of passenger services.

To manage and develop the marketing potential of Passenger Operations
Unit, through the implementation and development of advertising and
marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of the Passenger
Operations Unit to increase the customer base.

To implement corporate policies, procedures and guidelines into the
operational area.
