We're seeking a future team member for the role of Client Asset Safety, Global Head Governance and Control to join our Global Asset Safety team.

This role will be located in London or Manchester, and is offered on a hybrid, in office/work from home basis.


In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead a global team across 3 locations as part of a central Global Asset Safety function which is responsible for developing and overseeing industry leading client asset safety arrangements across BNYM.
  • Drive and develop a global client asset safety risk and control framework. Working alongside first line business units and operational risk to build out a bestinclass framework to bring transparency and forwardlooking insight to client asset safety risks across BNYM.
  • Develop global governance processes, to provide both functional and legal entity specific oversight.
  • Own and develop regulatory relationships, where applicable
  • Own all BNYM client asset audit engagements

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Education required: University degree or equivalent
  • Experience of client asset safety regulation and requirements, examples include of UK CASS, MiFID, SEC 15c3 etc.
  • Senior leadership experience in an Operations/Control or compliance function
  • Previous experience of regulatory interactions
  • Strong track record of people leadership and management of global teams
