We are currently looking to appoint an Economics or Business Graduate with the right attitude and motivation to come and teach Economics and/or Business for two terms (January-June).

During this placement you will gain an insight into the profession, working alongside a supportive team, teaching small classes of international students.

Students at Guildhouse School are studying for A levels and University Foundation Programmes and preparing for admission to universities across the UK and abroad.

OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

You will be supported by your mentor and faculty to develop, deliver, and support academic programmes in line with agreed standards and policies.

Teaching will include traditional A-Level, alongside the school's own University Foundation Programme and Pre-A level programme.

You will also be involved in the wider school life by acting as a Form (Personal) Tutor within the school.

There is also an expectation to participate and engage with the school's extra and co-curricular provision, enriching student's learning experience and development of skills outside the classroom.


REPORTS TO
You will report to the Curriculum Director (Head of Faculty) of Social Sciences. You will work within the framework set by and under the general direction of the Headteacher.
