The UCL and UCLH Joint Research Office (Research and Development) is undergoing an exciting period of expansion and development and is responsible for managing a large, internationally-recognized portfolio of research activity.
The focus is on translational and clinical research - taking advances in basic medical research out of the laboratory and into the clinical setting to directly benefit patient care.
The post holder will be required to maintain a good working relationship and a high level of customer service with R & D teams, specifically will provide support to a team of Contracts Managers, and external stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Research Contracts, a talented individual is sought to help provide legal advice to Research and Development (R & D); prepare and manage a wide range of agreements connected to biomedical research including but not limited to commercial research.
You will also be pragmatic and have proven ability to communicate effectively with senior clinicians, academic staff and other health service professionals to help deliver this challenging agenda within a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
