A number of Full Time permanent positions have become available within CNTW in the central locality.

We have an exciting and unique opportunity for those wishing to become Band 3 Nursing Assistants, contributing to the Acute, Rehabilitation and Older Person's care pathway.


Castleside is a 10 bedded unit providing assessment, care and treatment for older people with a cognitive impairment and physical health within the Centre for the Health of the Elderly.


Bede Ward has 16 beds and provides assessment and treatment for male adults with acute and enduring mental health needs.

Lowry and Lamesely both provide assessment and treatment for female adults with acute and enduring mental health needs. The wards are 16 b

Opportunities available across the 4 wards.


Currently Castleside/ Lamesley and Lowry are based within the Campus of Ageing and Vitality site, however there are plans to move the wards on the St Nicholas Hospital approximately Summer 2024.


The successful applicants will work within a multi-disciplinary team assisting in the development and implementation of collaborative, needs based care plans.


They will support the team in providing excellent and effective person centred nursing care as well as actively being involved in the health and well being of staff and service users.
