_*This role is a private arrangement with a person or family who is seeking support for someone else or themselves.

You will not be employed by or carry out work for Humans Cornwall; we have a dedicated team to help identify private personal assistants for care and support.

These roles are personally assisting somebody to achieve their goals, gain independence and/or manage their daily lives; These will be self-funded by the family or person, or they may receive a Direct payment from Cornwall council.

Edgcumbe, Cornwall

Dog-owner who loves to write seeks a personal assistant who is a confident problem-solver with a strong professional identity to support her daily life.

She lives with multiple complex life conditions.

Support required:

Domestic support
Shopping & appointments
Accessing community

Hourly rate of pay:
£10.90 or £13.54 (if self-employed)

Hours per week: 4.5 hours

Working Schedule

Days:
Monday/Wednesday/Saturday, and two extra days a month; 4.5 hours on the same days

11:30 - 2:30pm - can start earlier and finish earlier; this will be discussed during the interview stage

Essential:

Full driving licence
Previous experience in a care & support role
Someone who is trustworthy and a multitasker
Excellence communication and management skills
Willing to commute to
Falmouth to support with appointments/community activities
