    Description

    Thrive Trowbridge is seeking a part-time Payroll Manager to join their team on a permanent basis in the Trowbridge area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee employee payments across the business, ensuring remuneration aligns with contractual and statutory requirements
    • Collate, check and enter payroll information including hours, deductions and bonuses
    • Process BACs payments to employees, HMRC and third parties, including pension submission/data reporting
    • Resolve payroll queries
    • Administer company benefits, including company vehicles, income protection, life assurance and salary sacrifice
    • Coordinate with internal departments
    • Regularly provide reports

    Requirements:

    • Proven track record of delivering a fully managed payroll service
    • Knowledge of payroll legislation, including HMRC requirements for tax, NI, Apprenticeship Levy, RTI, auto-enrolment, PAYE and off payroll working
    • Previous experience in payroll and pension year-end processes
    • Excellent IT skills, including payroll systems
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP) is an advantage, although not essential
