This Stoke-on-Trent based tech company is involved in building complex data management and software products for well-known companies around the worldThe Test Automation Engineer will join the Testing Centre of Excellence.

What will you do?

Understanding, reviewing and writing test scripts & plans to support the deployment of products
Creation, execution and maintenance of tests for several automation strands
Extracting and designing test cases in order to deliver complete test coverage based off requirement criteria
Assisting in the design and development of Automated Testing Strategies
Ability to contribute to continuous improvement forums/disciplined agile squads.

About You

Good coding ability (e.g C#/SQL/Javascript) to support the creation and maintenance of automation framework.
Understanding, reviewing and writing test scripts & plans to support the deployment of products

Provide a flexible approach to testing whilst performing key functional, regression and manual testing as part of product development lifecycle.
Experience of frameworks and tools to support Automation eg Selenium/TeamCity/Page Object Modelling, Behaviour Driven Development, Microservices, Git
Experience of working with relational databases or have a good understanding of backend platforms
Demonstrate skills required within agile/devops squads, testing complex systems with demanding requirements
