An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our growing team, and within our Brighton & Hove Outreach Team.

The role of Team Leader has become available due to the expansion of our existing services.

Venture-People provide bespoke support packages to individuals living with and recovery from, mental ill health across Sussex. We work with a person-centred and recovery approach; empowering individuals to become as independent as possible.

A Team Leader is the first point of contact for the people we support, and their team. The role is designed to provide leadership through the provision of guidance, signposting, and managing incident-response.


This role and will include working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and you will demonstrate an excellent rapport with the people you are supporting.

Essential Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
  • Experience of working in a leadership role
  • Experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition / Autism Spectrum Condition

Desirable Skills:


  • Experience of working within an accredited deescalation/crisis intervention program
  • Experience of working within communitybased services
  • Experience of maintaining excellent records in accordance with current legislation
  • A qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, nursing, or other related discipline, including Health and Social Care
