What will you be doing?:
- Providing architectural oversight and governance of the front to back and connected architectural landscape for the CTO
- Reviewing the architecture of major programmes within Barclays' technology and data principles, policies and standards, as well as consistency with wider target architecture
- Contributing our assigned technology domain to further Barclays' technology strategy
- Ensuring that any CTO technology strategy papers address the needs and concerns of Barclays CIOs
- Creating a culture of, and technical environment for, continuous improvement in developer productivity and delivery effectiveness
- Supporting the analysis and demand challenge of requirements and requirements gathering as well as the definition of functional and nonfunctional requirements
- Documenting business requirements and business processes, and providing input, where possible, into the development of policies and procedures
- Performing data analysis on the production incidents and propose strategic enhancements, and providing management information based on trending analysis of the agile metrics
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or other Scientific discipline
- Experience of spearheading the design and implementation of enterprise systems in greenfield and brownfield environments
- Aptitude for and understanding of shaping and defining Enterprise Architectures using a variety of technologies that enable to achieve longterm business outcomes

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links.
