Overview:
We are seeking a Collector to join our team. As a Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Duties:

Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with debtors
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all collections activities
Follow company policies and procedures when dealing with debtors
Provide excellent customer service while effectively resolving payment issues
Collaborate with team members to achieve collection targets

Qualifications:

Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to negotiate effectively and handle difficult conversations
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Proficient in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in collections is a plus
