Description

This is a pivotal role supporting the Group Managers and CFO, covering all areas of finance and working with management, suppliers and clients at all times.

This role will be attractive to someone who enjoys managing and being at the Group nexus of finance and operations.


Key responsibilities

  • Implementing, managing and developing Group financial policies and procedures
  • Strategic modelling for Group performance and planning; supporting Group CFO, Managing Partners and VP Strategy
  • Management of the year end processes for the Group and all of its subsidiaries
  • Management of outsourced finance service providers and core finance functions:
  • Oversight of the key control systems and reporting
  • Management of staff compensation reporting and outsourced payroll providers
  • Sales and purchase ledger management
  • Monthly management accounts preparation
  • Management of Group expenses
  • Review weekly and monthly reporting before submission to Managing Partners
  • Develop and mentor team members
  • Drive projects as determined by the business and outcomes of Finance Strategy sessions
  • Supporting the regulatory returns process with the FCA
  • Deputising for the Group Managers as required
**Role competencies

  • Innate curiosity to understand the business, processes and people.
  • Ability to understand financial accounts and FCA regulatory drivers
  • Exceptionally well organised and expert in using Excel
  • Ensuring that tasks are completed and followed up on without prompting
  • First class project management skills and ability to collaborate across levels
