Little Butterflies Pre-School is looking to recruit an outdoor loving, inspiring and passionate Early years practitioner for our wonderful provision from March 2024 due to our growing popularity and restructure


As an Early years you will share our passion for ensuring that Little Butterflies Pre-School continues to provide an outstanding level of care and education to young children in the community.

We are looking for an experienced, confident, passionate, and hardworking individual to work within our busy, fully independent Pre-School. You will provide safe, high quality education and care for Pre-School children.


You will need to be proactive, a quick thinker, familiar with building attachments with young children, experienced with children from birth to five, warm, able to multi task, keen to take children out and about in all weathers, have an imaginative approach to play, familiar with Reggio, in the moment planning, Forest School approaches to learning and keen to work in a holistic way.

Tuesday

Hours many vary to suit the needs of Pre-schoo,


The successful applicant will join our team of staff and will participate in planning, teaching and ensuring that the EYFS underpins all our work.


Skills & Experience Required:
Promote our forest school ethos
Good working knowledge of the EYFS
Working as part of a team
Following policies and procedures
Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Understanding the role of the key person
The ability to complete observations and assessments
Be able to create daily records, inputting data to our electronic management system
Working in partnership with parents/carers
Planning for children's interests, relevant to their child's age and stage of development
Using evidence to develop practice.
