Description
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading accountancy practice as a Trainee Payroll Specialist.

Tis role is based on the outskirts of Cambridge and offers an entry level role for someone keen to pursue a career in Payroll.

Within this role you will reportinto the Director of Payroll.

As the incoming Trainee Payroll Specialist, you will work under the supervision of the Payroll Specialists, and be trained up to assist with payroll responsibilities for a portfolio of clients.


Such duties you will be trained on include:

  • Assisting with timesheet entries and P11D's
  • Assisting with year end reconciliations
  • Gaining exposure to the full payroll life cycle

In order to be successful in this position, you must be passionate about a career in Payroll and possess a strong academic background.

You will ideally have an A Level or equivalent in Maths and have strong attention to detail.

Additional attributes you willideally possess include:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen appetite to learn and develop
  • Organised in your approach to work

This role offers hybrid working arrangements after an initial period of training and offers on site parking for days when you are office based.
