Job Spec
Ensure bank reconciliations including credit card reconciliations are completed weekly.

Prepare month end accruals and prepayments and other month end journals and any associated reconciliations are completed.

Run stock valuations at month end and investigate thoroughly any discrepancies.

Ensure Loan and Interest account Reconciliations are completed for month end.

Ensure timely maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciation journals.

Manage the workflow of sales and purchase ledger to make sure month end deadlines are met.

Produce timely management accounts for review and approval by group accountants.

Nominal and control account reconciliations.

Assist with payment runs.

Assist sales ledger and purchase ledger with any queries.

Produce reports as required.

To provide cover in other areas as required.

Monitor and report on costs and usage, identifying opportunities for savings.

Assist with the year end processes.

Assist with budget preparation.

Any other reasonable management request


Person Spec
Essential

Experience with spreadsheets

Experience with V-lookup and pivot tables

Management accounting experience, preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis, minimum of 1 years experience

Attention to detail :
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in handling financial data and preparing reports.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

The Package- Permanent contract, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm from our head office in Kinmel Bay (North Wales)
