**Supply Teaching Assistant

  • Southwark**FORWARD TEACHING is seeking a music teacher for our client based in Southwark.
The student's wellbeing is at the heart of everything that this school does.

They pride themselves on providing ongoing support towards their students to ensure that they aim to reach their fullest potential.

The staff are extremely supportive and continuously motivate and encourage their pupils and other members of staff every day.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Clear Enhanced DBS
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Are reliable, flexible and have a good use of initiative.
  • Work well as part of a team
  • A passion for working with children.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To support the class teacher by working alongside them, providing help at any point
  • Support students and their social and emotional wellbeing.
  • Motivate and encourage students to work to their best ability.
  • Observe and report back to the teacher any student achievement or disciplinary action.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students, including those with special needs.
  • Provide ongoing support for behaviour management as well as promoting positive learning.
  • Take lead for a group activity.

JOB TYPE:
Either full time or part time


SALARY:
£90-£100 a day


SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday

LICENCE/CERTIFICATION:


  • GCSE

WORK LOCATION:
In-person
