Camden Town, London (Hybrid)
£28,000 to £35,000 (DOE)

Butler Rose are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established (over 40 years) highly successful mid-tier top-100 firm of chartered accountants based in Camden Town that are now keen to appoint for this newly created role of Mixed Tax Semi-Seniorto complement the SME accounts team.

Role Responsibilities

Manage a truly diverse portfolio of Personal and Partnership Tax Returns.

Manage internal and external relationships to ensure a high standard of Compliance by the firm for the client.
Manage the process of onboarding new clients and assisting them in adapting to having new personal tax advisers.
Proactively interacting with the client to gather information, resolve tax-related problems, and make recommendations for process improvement.
Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff, where required.
Assist partners on proposals and business development, if appropriate.
Person Requirements

Motivated selfstarter with the ability to independently complete assignments to deadlines and work with others in a growing team.

Must have a strong desire to be Client focussed.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a Personal Tax Compliance role.
ATT qualification or Qualified by Experience (minimum 5 years if no ATT Qualification).

Broad exposure to Personal Tax Compliance and knowledge of UK tax issues and the regulatory framework of UK Personal Taxation.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Professionalism, dependability, and integrity combined with a cooperative attitude and a desire to fit into a hardworking, but friendly team.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, as well as experience using industry specific tax compliance software, ideally CCH Personal Tax.
