2 x SEN Tutors required for Greenwich SEN school.


We are excited to be working on behalf of an SEN School in Woolwich in Greenwich who are looking to recruit 2 x SEN Tutors to start throughout February.


The positions will start on a temporary contract with full-time hours, with the option of going on to a permanent contract after a number of weeks working through Classroom Support.


The school has made a difference to the lives of hundreds of children and young adults over the years and has fantastic support mechanisms, you will be working within a family type staffing environment.


They are looking for Tutors to teach their children Mathematics and English, who have challenging behaviour in their school provision.

They work closely with the borough of Greenwich and support children from schools across Greenwich that are on the verge of permanent exclusion.

Please see below the requirements for the roles.

  • Experience of challenging behaviour management.
  • Experience tutoring small classes of students with ASD or ADHD.
  • Positive behaviour management, restraint training, or working in a support background is highly advantageous.
  • Experience tutoring students within SEN school's or provisions is advantageous.
  • Being somebody, the students can relate to on a personal level and having a firm but kind caring nature.
  • A relevant Teaching Qualification is advantageous. Will consider QTS, QTLS, NQT, PGCE's. With relevant SEN of support backgrounds.
