Mustard Tree is a Greater Manchester charity that creates opportunities for people and communities to help themselves through practical support, life skills and connections into work.
As the charity develops to meet growing need, there is an exciting opportunity to join our Fundraising Team.
We are looking for a driven, passionate, and organised individual to enable Mustard Tree's mission through helping the Fundraising Team grow our awareness, partnerships, and income.
Role Purpose
This role is responsible for the smooth running of Mustard Tree's Corporate Partnership income stream, growing and stewarding a cohort of donors, partners, and organisations, supporting with planning and development, events, and presentations.
This role would suit a energetic, confident individual who has experience in sales, public speaking, stewardship, stakeholder management and has a desire to grow and develop within the charity.
What you'll be doing:
Partnership, Development, and Donor Stewardship
- Active relationship management and stewardship for our current Corporate Partners.
- Qualifying & contacting potential partners; hyperlocal, local, GMwide, and national businesses.
- Overseeing daytoday corporate incomings; logging, thanking donors and informing staff.
- Travelling externally for meetings, networking events and presentations and hosting tours & chats.
- Working with the Volunteer Manager to book & host corporate partnership volunteering days.
- Overseeing signups to Mustard Tree's 'mass participation events', I.E Tough Mudder, the Great Manchester Run and working with Fundraising Administrator to steward those donors.
Administration
- Managing personal inbox and calendar effectively.
- Accounting for and assigning cash, activity, and outcomes to specific partners, chasing expected income if/when required.
- Working with Fundraising Administration to enter data, pull information, manage individual and corporate profiles on our CRM System.
- Building briefs and 'decks' of corporate partners, including commitments, funds raised, activities, events participation, volunteering.
- Proactively updating, reaching out to and engaging with existing partners to develop the relationship, I.E with newsletters.
Social Media & Communication
- Working with the Fundraising & Communications teams to plan social media briefings, content, calendars, and events.
- Supporting the daytoday management of Corporate & Community interactions and engagement across social media.
- Supporting the establishment and running of additional internal communications, I.E Teams.
General Responsibilities

- Joining the Fundraising Team at events if and when required.
- Performing other tasks and duties relevant to the role as required by the organisation, including potentially providing relevant cover, support, and response.
