Our clients in Sittingbourne, Kent are looking for 5 experienced wheeled loading shovel operators, for
Immediate start.


You will be required to:


  • Stock pile raw material's in a space efficient, safe manner.
  • The ability to work independently, methodically and in a timely manner as part of a team is important.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are being followed at all times.
  • Ensuring the proper operation and daily maintenance of the shovel and reporting any faults promptly and efficiently to the plant manager.
  • Carry out general labour duties.
  • Keeping the site clean and tidy.
  • Any other duties necessary to the smooth running of the business.
You will work 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts, then 6 days off.

Shifts will be 12hrs, 6am to 6pm, with the possibility for overtime.

£16.67 an hour including holiday. (Breaks are paid)


You must have:


  • Valid CPCS wheeled loading shovel qualification, and/or MPQC card.
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence is a bonus)
  • Own reliable transport

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sittingbourne, Kent: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- wheeled loading shovel: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:
- wheeled loading shovel ticket/ card (preferred)

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • CPCS (preferred)
