Part-time Nanny position in Barton-on-Sea, New Milton, BH hours per week

A professional, experienced Nanny is required to join a lovely family known to the agency in New Milton. The Nanny will be providing care for one little boy aged 3 years old.

Working hours are 24 hours per week to include 3 afternoons per week on a Monday Tuesday and Thursday 1-6pm and a full day on a Wednesday 9am-6pm.

This is to that the little boy can attend forest pre-school on a part-time basis alongside having the benefits of one-to-one care from a nanny.

Please see breakdown of hours below. If the nanny prefers to work Monday to Thursday 1-6pm this is also an option.


The nanny will spend one full day (on a Wednesday) with the little boy, then pick him up from forest pre-school three afternoons per week.

The three half days will include a few hours to do some light household tasks whilst the boy is at pre-school.

Duties will include general nanny duties such as laundry, tidying the child's bedroom, preparing dinner for him and running errands.

The family have a cleaner therefore no heavy cleaning is required.


The role would suit a reliable, proactive and organised nanny that has a kind, gentle, caring, fun nature and genuinely loves working with children.

Although the child is the main priority, understanding home management is important as the parents are very busy with work.


Suggested Salary:
around £12-14 gross per hour depending on qualifications and experience.


Working hours:


24 hours per week - one full day per week Wednesday 9am-6pm plus three afternoons per week Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1pm-6pm (family can be flexible on the days), or the family can offer four afternoons per week 1-6pm if the nanny prefers.


From June to end of August 2023:

Optional 25.5 hours per week - Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-5.30pm or the nanny can stick to the contracted hours 4 days per week.
