A fantastic opportunity to join a growing architecture design firm based in London.


Reed Finance are delighted to be partnering with this organisation to find them their next Finance Director to assist with the growth of their business.


This role will be managing a team of 5-6 staff and will be responsible for the finance function of the organisation reporting to the board of directors.


This role would suit an ACA practice trained Accountant who has prior experience leading a finance department in a architecture/design firm or a property/construction focused consultancy.


Summary of Day to Day Responsibilities of this Finance Director role:

  • Management of accounts department
  • Liaison with Management accountants for monthly/annual accounts
  • Forecasting of sales via salesforce pipeline
  • Maintaining P & L budgets and forecasts
  • Alignment of cashflow, budgets, revenue forecasting, WIP
  • WIP calculations
  • Liaison with strategy accountants (Big Four)
  • Set up / liaison with EU entities
  • Setting up client account arrangements
  • Control/monitoring of contract GP and revenue

Key Qualifications and Experience required in this Finance Director role:

  • ACA qualified practiced trained Accountant (CIMA or ACCA will be considered if strong industry experience)
  • Background working within design consulting or workspace fitout & refurbishment
  • Strong experience in budgeting forecasting, cash management and WIP
  • Experienced managing finance teams and leading a finance department
  • Experience working with overseas entities
  • Strong understanding of pipeline reporting and revenue reporting
  • Team player and ability to real drive forward a finance function
