    Service Engineer Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician

     

    Based in Northampton, this role offers a local field-based position with comprehensive on-the-job training and an extensive benefits package.

    Job Summary:

    The Service Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment in the Northampton area.

    This is a great career opportunity for engineers from various backgrounds, including plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment. The company will provide full training for vehicle technicians looking to transition into this industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carrying out planned maintenance on forklifts and associated equipment
    • Providing breakdown coverage in the Northampton area
    • Demonstrating mechanical service and repair skills, ideally with engine diagnostic and basic electrical knowledge
