A leading polymer development business is looking to appoint an Electromechanical Engineer within its technical team to design and develop new electrical and mechanical processes.

Our client's specialist polymers are used in synthetic medical devices tohelp improve the end user's quality of life.

To be considered you should hold a degree in a mechanical, electrical, or related engineering field and possess experience with process control and fault finding on electrical, mechanical and PLC systems.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at my client's state-of-the-art facility in Saffron Walden.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop new processes, and identify current process improvements.
Think outside the box to find & develop solutions.
Maintain support for current process equipment.
Be reactive and proactive towards the daily maintenance schedules.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment, carrying out process control and improvement.
Integration of new products.
Fabrication skills would also be highly advantageous.

Electrical ability:

PLC ability to connect analyse and edit and programmes, 3 phase 415vac, Single phase 110/120 vac, Low voltage DC, Digital and analogue circuit technology.

Mechanical ability:

Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, filtration systems, pistons, and hydraulics.

Salary:
£40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
