Description
As Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for the following as well as general administration tasks:- completion of monthly bank reconciliations / identifying any queries
- preparation of limited company / sole trader / partnership accounts
- identifying / monitoring of compliance statutory filing deadlines
- communicating with HMR&C on behalf of clients
- providing assistance to junior staff as required
The Company
Our client is a small and successful accountancy practice based in Bristol. They have a skilled team with many years of experience.
They offer a full range of accountancy services from personal taxation, VAT and year end compliance, to business advisory and cloud accountancy, providing a complete accounting package for clients.
The Person
As Accounts Assistant you will have experience in a similar role and may be qualified or working towards relevant qualifications ( AAT / ACCA / ACA / ATT )
You will also have:
- excellent written & verbal communication skills
- experience with Microsoft Office ( Word / Excel / Outlook )
- ability to work as part of a team
- experience of TaxCalc, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks would be beneficial
