The Cloud Operations (Cloud Ops) are there to provide 24x7x365 support to our customer base, covering day to day incidents, change and project management activities.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team lead to supplement the great work that's already underway by the current team.
The team leader is responsible for the following:
- People management
- Participating in the the yearly performance reporting cycles
- Decision maker for all operational processes and procedures relating to Cloud Ops
- Day to day management of customer workloads
- Optimisation of cloud buildouts for cost and performance
- Providing excellent levels of customer service
- Participation in a 24/7 oncall rota 1 Week In
- Keeping up to date with cloud best practices and developments
- Produce detailed reporting around compute and cost requirements
- Configure cloud role, Custom roles permissions for Management Groups, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, and Resources.
Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL:
- Previous experience supporting/administering cloud Services
- Experience in administering/troubleshooting Linux and/or Windows servers
- Commandline configuration/troubleshooting knowledge
- Good problemsolving skills
- Able to work on your own initiative and as a part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage a varied and busy workload
DESIRABLE:
- Previous team lead experience desirable but not essential
- Azure Active Directory (AAD) experience would be advantageous
- Cloud certifications, at the associate or administrator level
