JOB - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION - Bristol

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £37,000 to £40,000

My client, a Bristol based company who design & build medical equipment are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

Experience working a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Preventative maintenance experience.
Previous experience with panel wiring.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
At least level 3 electrical & electronics qualification.
Good communication skills.
Experience & knowledge of PLCs, C++ and ladder logic for programming is preferred.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer's duties will involve:

Track all production equipment.
Make sure the production equipment is properly maintained with routine checks.
Advise and implement, new & upgrading of existing equipment to electronic industrial controls.
Assist the production of new equipment and processes.
Support all departments on the use, introduction, and implementation of electronics.
Install electrical requirements of the company, including general maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
Control and administration of all maintenance spare parts
Programming and setup of PLC controls
Installation, maintenance and repair of facilities requiring electrical/electronic knowledge
Keep up to date with new advances in electronics/electrics
Supervise junior maintenance engineers/technicians
