Are you a highly motivated and creative individual with a passion for social media? Do you want to take your skills to the next level and help raise funds for an amazing charity in Yorkshire?

Our client is seeking a dynamic Junior Social Media Executive to join their team.

You will be responsible for managing and developing their social media channels, creating engaging content and driving engagement with their supporters.

You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and help shape the charities brand through our social media presence.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and execute the charities social media strategy across all platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others as needed
  • Implement paid advertising strategies across platforms
  • Create highquality, engaging social media content including assets and video content such as Instagram Reels
  • Create and plan engaging and informative ecampaigns to engage with our supporters that is aligned with our social media strategy
  • Monitor social media performance and produce reports, analyse engagement and recommend changes as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that social media content is aligned with broader marketing and communication strategies
  • Create engaging blog posts and comment on relevant news and trends across our social media platforms
  • To provide general administrative support to the team
  • Assist at offsite events as briefed by the Head of Events
  • To help deliver ideas and initiatives that will contribute to the growth and development of the charity


You will be expected to carry out other duties from time to time depending on the needs of the charity.


Requirements:


  • A strong work ethic with a passion for helping children
  • Experience managing multiple social media channels and producing engaging and creative content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility
  • Ability to analyse social media metrics and make datadriven decisions
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people from a wide range of backgrounds e.g., Committee members, colleagues, beneficiaries, external suppliers, support staff at events etc.
  • Reliable and wellpresented
  • Able to multitask and achieve key deadlines
  • Is a 'team player' (working in a relatively small office in close proximity to colleagues
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar
  • Proficiency in MailChimp or similar
  • Proficiency and experience using Adobe Software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
